Vignettes for Slovenia are on sale via the Internet as e-vignettes from December 2021. The e-vignette can be purchased for cars up to 3.5 t in periods of validity a week, month and year. For vehicles up to 3.5 t are determined two price categories according to the height of the vehicle with a value of 1.3 m above the front axle. On the western part of the country at the border crossing with Austria, a fee is levied for the passage of the Karavanke tunnel. Toll payment for vehicles with a total maximum authorised weight above 3.5 t is made via the DarsGo on-board unit.

The Karavanke tunnel is an 8 km long tunnel between Austria and Slovenia. The DarsGo toll system with on-board unit is designed to pay tolls for motorways and express roads for vehicles with a maximum authorised weight of more than 3.5 t. Price category of the vehicle shall be determined by the number of axles and the emission class of the vehicle. The price of the toll for the journey through Slovenia can be calculated with the help of an interactive map with calculator on the DarsGo portal.
